- Badger Forge Firearms supports reviewed transfer inquiries for handguns, long guns, dealer/distributor transfers, and multiple-firearm transfer questions.
- NFA transfer inquiries are supported with additional review and coordination. See the NFA Items page for NFA-specific reminders.
- Private-party transfer questions may be submitted for review before any appointment or next step is confirmed.
How to Start a Transfer
- Submit the transfer inquiry form with the firearm type, seller or shipping FFL information, and any available order or tracking details.
- Wait for Badger Forge Firearms to review and confirm the request before shipment is arranged.

Before Your Firearm Ships
- Do not arrange shipment before receiving confirmation from Badger Forge Firearms.
- Shipping or receiving details are provided only after the transfer request is reviewed and accepted for next steps.
- Unconfirmed shipments may be refused or delayed.
Dealer / Seller Instructions
- Sending dealers or sellers should wait for confirmation before shipping.
- Include the customer name, seller or dealer contact information, and invoice or order reference if available.
- Use tracking and appropriate packaging. Address provided after appointment and transfer confirmation.
Pickup Appointment
- Badger Forge Firearms will contact the customer after the firearm is received and ready for next steps.
- Appointments are by confirmation only. Please wait for confirmation before arriving, arranging shipment, or bringing any item for service.
- Bring required identification and any requested invoice, order, or transfer reference information.
Required Transfer Steps
- Firearm transfer completion is subject to required paperwork, identification, background check requirements, eligibility review, and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
- ATF Form 4473 and background check steps, where applicable, happen in person with the FFL and are not collected through this website.
- Submitting an inquiry does not complete a sale, order, firearm transfer, NFA transfer, background check, application, reservation, or gunsmithing/service authorization.
Delayed, Denied, or Not-Proceed Responses
- Delayed responses are handled according to the applicable process before any next step is completed.
- Denied or not-proceed responses cannot be completed through the website or appointment process.
- Badger Forge Firearms will provide operational next-step information when available.
Unclaimed / Abandoned Transfers
- Customers should pick up reviewed transfer items only after appointment confirmation.
- Additional abandoned item, storage, pickup, or unclaimed property policies may be provided before final launch.
- Failure to follow up may delay future service until the issue is resolved.
